Weekend at New York

Saturday night in New York was mental! After a good chinese dinner, we start up drinking at home, just a couple of beers, then we moved 2-3 floors downstairs since there was a private british-house party! Really cool, I've tried some others cocktail and I've met new friends. Then all together we moved to Sugar, a nice place, quite expensive but nice, 2 floor, full of nice people! :-)
When I was almost drunk we've decided to move for another club, Hiro, a standard club in New York, commercial and cheese music, not really special but nice for continuing the night!
Here I've met also my other friends, then all together we moved to another club, at around 4am, called Crobar...this place was the really club that I was looking for: London-style club (like The Fabric or EC1), crazy people inside, noboby knew when the club was going to close!!! :-)
I left the club at around 7 but it was still full of people....good electronic music, cool people but, this really impressed me, the chill out room have had salsa music instead of the standard lounge music!!! So you can imagine how happy I was... :-)

Of course, after a crazy night like this, I've slept until midday (and I don't think was enough...) anyway, then I've had a fast dinner and then we went play soccer in a really nice place just 15min away from here (susy's flatmate envited me to play with them, really cool and nice person!)
In the evening no big things: I've originally planned a visit to Cobacabana but then I realised nobody want to come so I've posted this event next week!

Now I'm on the bus to Providence, RI, where I will pass another week (there I've some relatives where to stay!), and then I'll be back again to NYC for another couple of days....

See ya

New York!

Hi guys,
just some fast news from New York! :-)
After the first day passed completely sleeping (I've had to recover energies...), I've organize myself about things to do and places to visit: first, I've visit all teh major places like Empire State Buiding, Rockfeller Center, Times Square, World Trade Center,etc.... basically I'm doing the real tourist life!! I've found quite interesting a park, Bryant Park, where you can relax with a free wireless connection on the sun, a place in the middle of Manhattan, next to Times Square.
I'm so lucky to have found such nice days, always sunny and quite hot, I was planning to going out with shorts and t-shirt only, but then today wheater started to be London-style again and so puff!!! :-)
Anyway, the first 3-4 days were perfect for visiting manhattan and enjoy this fantastic city!

Let's talk about nights: on wednesday I went with my english friend Susy & friends to a bar caller "Cafe wha?", quite funny, cool music (i've also danced a salsa song...), but the most important thing is that I was drunk and with 5 girls on my table (and I was the only man!).....
Next evening was more crazy: we started drink in a place, Light, at 5pm untill 7pm, completely free (only a 5 dollars for get in, then all the booze were free, tip non included of course!)...anyway, I can't remember how many drinks I've had, I only know that after 7pm I was in an amazing drunk condition, still with the sun outside! So I left my friend and I went to Copacabana, the best salsa club in new york! The only problem was my shoes (sneakers not allower) so I was first forced to go home, change and come back....but on the way I've took too much time and then when I was at home I fell down sleep! :-(
Anyway, before I leave I really have to visit this club, so I will post how this club is next week! :-)
Friday night, I've met other friends, Franco and co., really cool guys, fantastic night but without have visited any particular clubs, quite expensive for friday night (the minimum was 30$, shit!).
So we've decided to save money for tonight, saturday, since there are really cool plans about it! :-)

Now it's raining that's why I've decided to stay at home, relax and update you about my holiday....

Take care

First days in New York...

This city is amazing....first of all, I left London with clouds everywhere, a sort of gray color, and when I'm arrived I believed to be in italy again: yesterday and today I couldn't find any cloud!!! :-)
Thus, the wheater is much better, more hot (I don't need my coat anymore...) and so now I can start wear t-shirt!!

Anyway, now I'm in new Jersey, from here I've a such nice view of Manhattan, I will see you soon some photos....

Yesterday I left my luggages to Susy's office, then I went to Times Square to watch Milan AC..... :-(
Then I've waited Susy finishing her job, then we moved in her apartment here in New Jersey! After 3 consecutively nights without sleep (more or less) I couldn't do too much so after a healthy dinner I've fall sleeping, even with a Woody Allen movie...

And now let's going out, New York is waiting for me....

See ya

[eng] last days in London...

Hi guys,
sorry if I continue to write in italian and english all the time but I've also many italian friends which doesn't speak english but they still wanna know some news!! :-)
Anyway, what to say about London??? It's great as normal, a unique city with a unique atmosphere!!
During the week I've spent many days looking for some good Master course to take in September: I've visited many university around London, some really interesting, other really SHITs! At the end the best one for quality/price is the University of East London, but I still need to decide what to do, if start working soon for a company (which one??) or start a MSc or MBA!
Anyway, let's talk about the weekend! Friday night I went with Beatka and 2 other polish friends around Shoreditch, brilliant area, full of pubs (it remember be the roman "Testaccio"!!!): we went in a couple of clubs without paying, then thhe girls asked us to visit a strip-tease club.... crazy people for a crazy city!!! :-)
Saturday night we went to "Nice Live", an ex "public toilet" in central london, something of amazing....really cool "club", the only problem they closed at 3am, so what better idea than go to an house-party??? :-)
We followed the chinese guy (the DJ) who bring all the people of the club in his house, fucking really good pent-house!!! So we continued to dance for a little bit more but we decided to save energies for tonight and so we went to sleep at 6am....
The point is that we were waiting for tonight since longe time: we bought tickets in advance for see Richie Hawtin, a great DJ (really expensive as well), so tonight it must be really the best night in London, perfect for this Bank Holiday, isn't it??
Probably tomorrow (monday) I will visit another house party in west london, then tuesday I've my BA-flight for New York City...THE WORLD TRIP IS STARTING!!! :-)

So guys, maybe next news will be from Manhattan, for the moment I wish you happy Easter and hope to hear news from you as well!

Take care,see ya

[ITA] last days in london....

Ciao a tutti,
