Saturday night in New York was mental! After a good chinese dinner, we start up drinking at home, just a couple of beers, then we moved 2-3 floors downstairs since there was a private british-house party! Really cool, I've tried some others cocktail and I've met new friends. Then all together we moved to Sugar, a nice place, quite expensive but nice, 2 floor, full of nice people! :-)
When I was almost drunk we've decided to move for another club, Hiro, a standard club in New York, commercial and cheese music, not really special but nice for continuing the night!
Here I've met also my other friends, then all together we moved to another club, at around 4am, called Crobar...this place was the really club that I was looking for: London-style club (like The Fabric or EC1), crazy people inside, noboby knew when the club was going to close!!! :-)
I left the club at around 7 but it was still full of people....good electronic music, cool people but, this really impressed me, the chill out room have had salsa music instead of the standard lounge music!!! So you can imagine how happy I was... :-)
Of course, after a crazy night like this, I've slept until midday (and I don't think was enough...) anyway, then I've had a fast dinner and then we went play soccer in a really nice place just 15min away from here (susy's flatmate envited me to play with them, really cool and nice person!)
In the evening no big things: I've originally planned a visit to Cobacabana but then I realised nobody want to come so I've posted this event next week!
Now I'm on the bus to Providence, RI, where I will pass another week (there I've some relatives where to stay!), and then I'll be back again to NYC for another couple of days....

Ciao Andrea, sono Pio 4te. Posto qui una risposta, visto che a NYC spero di andarci presto,soprattutto per comprare tantissimi dischi. Mi fa piacere che ti stai divertendo e mi raccomando:tieni alta la bandiera italiana (capisci a mme'!!;-)
P.S. ci dev'essere un negozietto di dischi nel bronx dove si trovano cd di salsa VECCHISSIMI ed a ottimo prezzo,ma ti devi far accompagnare da qualcuno del posto xkè è un po' pericoloso.
Cmq. in generale:guarda se trovi qualche disco in vinile che non sia stato digitalizzato su cd(lo chiedi al negoziante) dei seguenti artisti:

SEXTETO JUVENTUD
DIMENSION LATINA

Mi fermo qui sennò finisco domani.Se trovi qualke vinile tra i gruppi e gli artisti che ho citato,che non sia stato mai edito su compact disc COMPRALO SUBITO! Avrai un pezzo da collezione introvabile,fidati!;)
Se vuoi poi,più in generale,chiedi se hanno qualke LP (sempre che non sia mai stato ristampato su cd) di "guaguancò newyorkese"...è il genere che balliamo al Magic ;)

non sono riuscito a visitare il Bronx....per fortuna!! La veritá é che ci sono giá stato tre anni fa per una partita di baseball (Yankee stadium), quindi ho preferito lasciar stare! :-)
Cmq grazie per la dritta, buono sapere di questi artisti, magari compro qualcosa a Puerto Rico....
